We’re reached the last part of my review with the Canon EOS 60D. In this last test I took the 60D for an actual assignment, which is a Pre-Wedding shoot. We shot from really early in the morning till late night when the moon was shining down on us, and with that I guess I could say I’ve tested this camera with almost all sort of lighting condition.

Less talk from me, so here are the images…

Below are shots done at night and the shot below is done with light painting technique.

Long exposure shot outdoor.

Another light painting technique done out door with Jack Tan, this shot was really fun and different, the outside of this house was almost pitch black and it took 2 of us to light up the house and the bride and groom.

To sum things up, is the Canon EOS 60D good enough for professionals? Well, yes and why not? These pictures are taken and to be presented to the couple Chu Kin and Shennie. I’ve been reading around forums and noticed that most people would say the built and quality of the camera isn’t good enough. My thought and question back is…why does that matter? I’ve not been required to throw my camera on the ground or at someone and even if I was…I wouldn’t.

The image quality matters most when it comes to selecting a camera and this 60D has done its part. It’s giving out professional like pictures with a big bang for bucks price. The high iso performance is awesome and the noise is subtle and reasonable enough. Focusing is definitely better then the 5D mark II which I hope canon would do something bout it when the mark 3 comes out.

To end things, I would like to thank Canon Malaysia for giving me the opportunity to try out this unit and have it for an actual assignment, Jack Tan for letting me be his partner in crime for this assignment and Chu Kin and Shennie…for entrusting me and the camera to do our job, also a big congrats to you both.

Hey Guys, christmas is coming and guess what? DUMC and SIBKL (2 churches) are collaborating this year to present to you a theatrical dance performance with awesome music. This event is open to every one so do feel free to drop by and watch it. I had the privilege to have a sneak peak on their rehearsal and I must say, though I’m not a dancer or a theater kind of person most of the time…this is great..and the dancers are superb too! So do take this opportunity to catch this performance…and best part of all..its FREE! Bring you date bring you family bring whoever you want…oh yea..you don’t have to be a christian to go..its OPEN :)

from their site the synopsis of it;

We live in a world of the unexpected–a mad world which seems to make little sense. In a world where tragedies beyond our imagination happen daily at preposterous proportions, how is it possible for us to live as if there were no tomorrow?

How peculiar that we care only about our own existence, when others around us could be drowning.

Have we forgotten the value of human lives?

Who are we and what is our worth?

What gives a man his value – his riches or his power over other men?

What about those whose lives are shattered by suffering—has God been unkind to them?
Don’t they matter?

What is the value of a human life?

MadWorld takes us into the souls of two men – Adam and Lucas – both asking the same question:

“What is indeed the worth of our souls?”

For more info check out their site at Madworld

As most of you may have figured out already I’m not very good at writing…so here’s a video of the actions you may catch if you go

Canon EOS 60D review Part 2

November 5, 2010

Hey people! here’s part of of the Canon 60D review, I decided to take out the camera to KL city at night to do some street shoot, So here’s a video of what happened. All shots are taken with the basic kit that comes with the Canon 60D which is the 60D and the EFS 18-55 F3.5 – 5.6 lens. I hope I manage to show how the kit lens set is sufficient to do some low light video recording and also photography with a Canon 580EX II flash which I use as a off camera flash.
