Hello and welcome, I'm a Freelance Photographer from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia who loves capturing moments

very much passionate about it.

different I'm definitely am the man you would love to approach.
Feel free to take your time to browse through my work and feel free to contact me
if you need to enquire about anything at all. For more previews of my work we could arrange a meet up at your convenience.
I am on on twitter
and @reply me so that I know who you
are :) Cheers!
I would like to introduce a new service that I’ve been wanting to explore for a while now, Pet photography. For those animal lovers out there like me who love to capture pictures of you love one, here’s a chance to get a professional to capture you and your love ones/family in a casual and fun portrait session.
Here are some pictures of Dydee with her 3 fun and active dogs playing around the park. I love how the dogs are allowed to run free and have fun in parks…really hope that there are more dog parks in KL.
Lastly this poor fellow so tired at the end…he just gave up and decided to call it a day.
Just recently I was given a chance to do a baby portrait with Pei Chyi’s and David’s one month old baby Zachary. I must say it was quite fun and challenging at the same time. Lil Zach was very cooperative throughout the whole session and would fall asleep and wake up on demand..totally awesome! how many babies do you know could sleep and be awaken and not be cranky?
David is an online marketer (i think?) who helps people with their business online..do check out his blog at http://blogjunkie.net for a more accurate idea of what he does
This baby is so cool that he even got his own facebook page the day he was born, he was catching up on how many fans he has till he doze off.
Lastly a family portrait, thanks again Pei Chyi and David for the opportunity and hopefully one day…maybe 20 years from now Zach will read this post
I’m back from boot camp! Haha…it really feels weird calling it boot camp but in a way it’s somehow like that. I would say it was really fun and I had a good time there, though I had to stay up late abit to do some editing.
If you were following me on twitter, a month or two back then I said I was running dry on my shots and pretty much not feeling the mojo being there anymore. I guess god has his eyes on me…Redninja.tv brought down Wiki Lee who’s also the founder of Foto Expression. Somehow during camp my mojo came back and my mind has been refreshed once again.
Camp wasn’t all talk and no action, we were given individual task and also group task. The individual task was more like a pre-wedding shoot with an actual couple. I got to work with Rachel and Ser Young which were awesome and cool to work with. Here are the 5 pictures that we were required to submit.
and I selected this picture as my fav which got my 4th spot.
Thank you Canon Malaysia for sponsoring the prizes. I got a lens pen to clean my lens.
The top 3 winners got themself a mini 5D mark2 which is soooo cute!
The group project was to come up with a slide show that would show the personality of our group members and this is what we came up with. Out of our expectation we actually manage to get first place. I bet the judges had a hard time figuring out which would they picked as the other groups work were awesome as well.
group members were : Andrew Chow, Teng Wei, Jonathan Tan and ofcourse yours truely Benjamin Lim. All shots were an equal contribution of all members.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Jon Low from Jon Low Studios for his mentoring and guidance. Not to forget Wiki himself and his wife Ilona for their superb personal attention.
Lastly all the beautiful pictures wouldn’t be anything if it wasn’t for the marlevous bride and groom, Rachel and Ser Young. Thank you so much for being our models and being commanded by us..haha. Thank you as well Shinny Ong for your awesome skills in make up and hair making the bride and groom look their best. Lastly to Pretty in White for the wonderful looking dresses.
It’s been a while since I last did any portrait session so I pushed myself to do something…and so I came up with an idea to try something with a touch of vintage at Heritage Hotel. I’ve visited the hotel once long ago for group pre-wedding shoot for some couple. I wasn’t too happy with most of my shots there so I made a return.
Somehow I must have left this out, here some individual shots of Inverted Coma. Here’s their site address again www.inverted-coma.com. For those that haven’t heard of these guys…I would recommend that you drop by their site or facebook or myspace and take a listen to their tracks, I love em, not sure whats their genre to be honest but if you’re one of those who love the 90’s kind of music…I guess this is the band you would love too.
Here we have David on Vocals
Jason on Lead guitars
Raymond on rhythm
Julian on bass
and last group shot which was more a spontaneous shot when the guys were fooling around
It was a lovely Saturday Morning that we decided to have this lovely shot taken in a park. Shi Ley whos now 7 months pregnant is about to be a mother to her first born. This was my first maternity shot and it was a blast, though it wasn’t as long as the other shots I’ve done, Shi Ley and Jeffrey got comfortable with the camera very fast and was a breeze for me to just go on with what I do best.
Had a session with these guys officially not too long ago. Though it’s been mention and talked about, it has finally came to action. We’ve made a move and finally did our 1st official photo session at a studio. Inverted Coma isn’t a new band but instead has been around for quite some time now, feel free to check them out at www.inverted-coma.com or search them at facebook.
They also took some behind the scene shots while I was at work but the pictures are on their facebook fan page. Inverted Coma consists of David (Singer), Jason (Lead guitar), Raymond (Keyboard/Guitar), Julian (Bass) and their new drummer Dillon.
So here’s some of the group shots that I’ve chosen.
So here are the pictures, this isn’t my usual routine of touching so much but from this set I’ve actually learned alot and have also been working on a new work flow. I hope you enjoy looking through the pictures as much as I enjoy processing them. I have to say digital photography is really really fun once you get the hang of it.
Here’s a shot I did some time back in June, took me a while to edit it as I was too busy with some other errands. I’ll be releasing the pictures soon but I would love to get some feedback on this slide show. Hopefully it works this time as the previous time Youtube didn’t really gave me proper quality pictures and also they mute my slides as the song was infringing copyrights.
It’s been a long time since I’ve last posted anything or took portraits, this is some back dated shots which I did and hopefully the slide show will be done soon enough.
