Nicole Mok @ Studio

October 29, 2008

Oh my, it looks like pictures before this set isn’t even really processed yet, Hennessy Artistry at Orange Club is sort of ready but I’ve not posted it as I was waiting to send the pictures to Micheal Yip first before I post. The other shots of Nicole are not up either…haha..I’m should be crown king of procrastinating and probably the worst person do to things in sequential order.

Anyways on the 12 October which is about 2 weeks ago, we did a studio shoot with lovely Nicole Mok. Enjoy the pictures…and ofcourse as usual, more pictures are in my flickr

I’m VERY pleased and happy with my outcome this time, not all but most pics are quite up to my liking. Do give me some feedback on what you think yea?

  • Hi Liu, thanks for your compliment. If you wan a higher res picture you could click on my picture and it will bring you to my flickr page. There you could get 1024 res but any bigger im afraid im not able to upload..would take up too much space.
  • Those photos are very good, especially the model. Keep up the good work. One more thing, is it possible that you can upload some higher resolution photos? thanks.
  • very neat studio shots! great lights and she is absolutely beautiful..very nice skin tone. well done
  • haha...
those that i am refering to is also consider as high key photography.

well, basically i think the lighting could be more interesting rather than just lit up everything to the brightest. Maybe u can try to lit the subject in a different ways.

The natural skin tone seems to be lost and it appears slightly too fair. Especially the third photo whereby the left side of the model's face is simply too bright and it almost merges the white background.
  • @Gladys
    how is it?

    @stupidfish
not too sure what are you trying to imply but im guessing the bright light doesn't fancy you. These pics are called high key anyway..the are meant to not really be like those shots that you are referring to. Then again i may be wrong since i don't know much bout portraiture as well.
  • Great shots.
Personally, i prefer shots with directional lighting which produces a portrait that shows the roundness and form of human face and body.
Of course, i am not an expert on portraiture, it is just my preference in shooting a portrait. :)

    Again, great jobs!!
  • Ok, I will go to have a look at your flickr. :)
  • Hi Gladys, nice to know you like them...i have more on my flickr acc usually..dont really post alot on my blog.feel free to browse through there as well yea. link is on the side.
  • I like your photos. It is great!!!
