Room-made shots

February 13, 2009

I have pretty inspiring friends around me who do funny stuff at home, at least it’s funny to me. They would do self portraits, “product shoot” of their own belongings like, bracelet, hand phones and etc… so here’s my version of my lens. I wanted to take a picture of my camera body..but then I would not have anything to use.

my first tele lens which made me broke for a while as I did not manage my expenditure properly that month. I remember it quite clearly still, my colleagues and I were eating expensive meals and watching movies…totally lost track of my spending’s, also I bought a tripod the same month.

My 2nd lens that I bought which I thought would be a good use..took a while to get use to the range since I was always using my Canon 55-250mm. Got this lens because of the F2.8 which I thought would come handy in darker situation.

I’ve came to a point where I believe that equipment will bring you to a certain level, as much as you need the skills to shoot good pictures and of course have the “eye” for a good composition. I’ve decided to stick back to Canon Lenses because I felt the contrast and quality of the image are better in certain lenses..and it’s been known that this lens is one of the sharp ones around. Comparing to the Sigma 70-200mm F2.8 DG Macro which is good but some would say, it performs like its price..not that good but not bad at all. I must say im quite amazed with this lens and its 4 stop IS ability. Im shooting at 1/25 shutter speed and still producing freaking sharp images…
