Oh my, it looks like pictures before this set isn’t even really processed yet, Hennessy Artistry at Orange Club is sort of ready but I’ve not posted it as I was waiting to send the pictures to Micheal Yip first before I post. The other shots of Nicole are not up either…haha..I’m should be crown king of procrastinating and probably the worst person do to things in sequential order.
Anyways on the 12 October which is about 2 weeks ago, we did a studio shoot with lovely Nicole Mok. Enjoy the pictures…and ofcourse as usual, more pictures are in my flickr
I’m VERY pleased and happy with my outcome this time, not all but most pics are quite up to my liking. Do give me some feedback on what you think yea?
Been watching people do lomo effect with photoshop and also some using their lomo camera. I thought I give it a try as well. To start off I took one of Nicole’s picture which didn’t turn out too well and did some editing, to my suprise I kinda like it. Though the facial expression isn’t what most photographers want but somehow with the color tone and contrast settings, I like it! haha that’s all I have to say, its just my preference.
Oh yea..for those who are asking whats lomo?
lomography is the art of casual, snapshot photography using low-fidelity cameras. Unconventional characteristics such as over-saturated colors, off-kilter exposure, blurring, distortion and alternative film processing are often considered part of the “Lomographic Technique.”
here’s a preview on who’s gonna have a shoot soon..
Her name is Vivian Gan…if you did search my Cheer 20008 pictures on flickr you might spot her
the 10 Golden Rules of Lomography,
1. Take your Lomo everywhere you go
2. Use it anytime - day and night
3. Lomography is not an interference with your life but a part of it
4. Shoot from your hip
5. Approach the object of your lomographic desire as close as possible
6. Don’t think
7. Be fast
8. You don’t have to know beforehand what you captured on film
9. afterwards either
10. ignore all the golden rules
if you ask me..lomography is the art of taking bad pictures which turns out good due to the lack of thinking and I guess it brings out the artistic side of the picture. Having to ignore composition and all the other techniques in photography makes this “lomography” a world of its own. Pictures may look mundane and over saturated or distorted..but hey.thats how its suppose to be
On National instead of going to KL city to look at the parade, I had an appointment with Nicole Mok instead. This young girl is more then what you see, very nice cheerful and fun to work with person. Though she enjoys laughing at me for some unknown reasons.
Anyways here a sneak preview of what went on. I’m still going through the photos and haven’t really process them you. So you guys out there got to be a lil patient
