Butterfly Farm

March 30, 2009

A continuation from my previous post here. My shots on some butterfly and other stuff with a Canon 100mm Macro and a Sigma 150mm macro lens. I’ve also came to respect these macro shooters as they really need super steady hands to do these shots. It was easy and all at first but after 4 hours or more…you can really feel you hands not listening to you.

hello world!

It seems that the colorful butterflies don’t quite like taking pictures and the ones which has dark colors love to..reason said is because they seem to keep flying whenever you are near and the black ones wont move at all no matter how near you approach it.

Finally I’ve cleaned up some hardisk space so that I am able to process/resize some of my pictures. I know this has been on hold for really long. January 19 till today… man am I good in procrastinating. Anyways since we’re still on the topic of birds…let me take this opportunity to share some pictures of more birds.

Waterfall hunting at Sungai Gabai

March 2, 2009

Been waiting for a while to go out and find waterfalls around Hulu Langat area, and finally had the time to do so. Sungai Gabai, or Gabai Waterfalls according to some people is amazingly nice and really beautiful in the early mornings. I must say tho this time I shot very little shots of the waterfall but I’m very much happy with most of the outcome.

Upon arrival to Sg Gabai waterfalls you would have to climb up a long steep staircase to the top where the picnic area is. The journey up isn’t all boring as there are some rest stops and with might fine view of this really steep waterfall. I would recomend this place to anyone who loves nature or would like to escape from the busy streets of KL to just relax and have fun. It’s best to go on a weekday if possible or early in the weekends as there’s alot of people going there and according to the parking attendant the parking stretch can be as long as 1KM!

Enjoy the pictures 🙂
