Marketing channels

July 3, 2016

SEO is a perfect complement to other marketing channels. However, it doesn’t take long to build up your portfolio with high quality, high value marketing campaigns.

What is SEO? A brief summary of Search Engine Optimization

If you’re interested in learning more about converting your existing website into a business through SEO, we have some tips for you:

Blog

If you’ve been holding off on investing in SEO for fear of getting ranked lower in search results, it is definitely worth your while to jump on board (find out here). If you find that your current website, which you’re relying on to grow your online business, is growing and has no obvious signs of slowdown, chances are that Google will see your blog as a threat to their position in search results. They will probably send you a penalty for any spammy, low-quality articles that you’re putting out there. Start out with something small and start making some money from this marketing channel.

Build a website that visitors can use

Of course, you’ll want to make sure that your website has a high conversion rate from visitors to sales. That’s where our recommendations to use Facebook Ads and Google AdWords come in handy. However, you will need to ensure that your website is engaging with the visitors. Make sure it does so in a way that will make them feel more inclined to click through and buy.

Pay attention to the keywords

The more relevant and relevant the keywords you are using, the more money you’ll be making. The best way to find out what keywords your site is ranking for is to use a tool like Moz Keyword Planner. To learn more about the different ways you can make money from Google Adwords, check out our guide: Guide To Making Money From Google Adwords.

Spend time on improving and keeping your website up to date

Your website should be as modern as possible, but it should still function and load quickly. The best way to accomplish this is to use an editor to do so. An editor allows you to customize the website in a way that will make it load faster. An editor allows you to tailor the design to your preferred style. Most of all, it allows you to put out content that is worth your audience’s time.

Use a CRM

Your website can easily be the center of your marketing efforts, but there’s a lot more you can do with it than merely surfacing advertisements. A CRM is an essential tool that can help manage all aspects of your marketing. You can track all of your data from ad clicks, referrers, and conversions so that you can make a more informed decision about where you should invest your time and energy.
